Bei Sándor wurde 2012 ein Non-Hodgkin-Lymphom, eine Form von Lymphdrüsenkrebs, diagnostiziert. Zusätzlich zu den üblichen Behandlungen nahm er fast durchgehend Heilpilze ein.
