Balázs erlitt bei einem Skiunfall eine diffuse Hirnverletzung. In 90 % der Fälle führen solche Verletzungen zu einem vegetativen Zustand. Bei den restlichen 10 % bleiben immer gewisse Einschränkungen zurück.
Nach dem Unfall schaffte es Balázs, seine Schulprüfungen im selben Semester und mit guten Ergebnissen zu bestehen.
