The tumour in István’s mouth grew so quickly that it soon blocked his airways. As a result, he had to be fitted with a tracheal tube and his lungs were full of metastases.
Now, MRI scans can’t detect any malignant abnormalities, and the metastases have completely disappeared from his lungs as well.
