Ákos suffered a traumatic brain injury and has subsequently seen a drastic reduction in the number and severity of epileptic seizures

Since January 2020, we have been following Ákos’ story after he suffered a traumatic brain injury. As a result of suffocation, the little boy suffered oxygen deprivation for a critical period. He was resuscitated in the hospital for 25 minutes. According to the imaging test results, a large part of his brain had died due to the lack of oxygen. Doctors were not encouraging about his future. However, they did not give up the fight; their primary goal was to eliminate the severe epileptic seizures that occurred as a result of the accident. Initially, Ákos was tormented by 100 then later 50-60 epileptic seizures a day. Today, Ákos is drug-free, and the number of epileptic seizures has drastically decreased. The few seizures he has are not serious at all. In this way, Ákos can develop according to his true potential. This video summarises the events and experiences over the last 3 years.
