Béla has had type 2 diabetes for 30 years.
As is common among people struggling with diabetes, narrowing of the arteries developed in his legs; his toes, and later his entire foot, and began to die and turn black due to a lack of blood circulation. As a result, doctors performed amputations on his left leg. Subsequently, the wound healing did not progress properly, and Béla took strong painkillers.
Later, the problem appeared on his right leg, but by then he had managed to find a solution that would not require further amputations: the blood vessels in his leg were able to regenerate, and blood circulation in his limb was restarted.
His difficulty walking was also made worse by breathlessness and shortness of breath; he couldn’t walk more than 15 to 20 metres in one go. That’s now a thing of the past, Béla can now walk kilometres.
His blood pressure and blood sugar levels have also stabilised, and his dizziness has disappeared. The inflammation around his heart has completely gone, and his kidney problems have also been resolved.
