Erika’s eye problem started 11 years ago. She was diagnosed with macular degeneration. She lost sight in her left eye completely, and her right eye also began to deteriorate. Injections into the eyeball helped for a while, but when the six-week interval between the two injections had passed, her vision had deteriorated.
