This end of the femur plays a major role in the orthopaedic stabilisation of the body, in the application of the compressive forces and their optimal distribution, and in the proper execution of movement. Due to Perthes disease, the blood supply to the femur is disrupted, resulting in deterioration and deformity of the femoral head. With Eva, diabetes also caused serious problems in the past, and her blood pressure after her stroke also showed extreme readings.
