Gergő’s primary tumour was testicular cancer, with metastases in his lungs, abdomen, and head. After chemotherapy and radiation treatment, he fell into a coma and was admitted to the inpatient ward in Germany. His doctors considered his chances of survival hopeless, and he only received palliative care. No one expected that Gergő would be able to recover at home. Yet, that’s exactly how it happened.
