Erika previously received a course of injections, as macular degeneration developed in both her eyes. The injections could not stabilise her condition in the long term, and it increasingly seemed that she might lose her sight completely.
Now she happily reports that although she has not been to the eye clinic for four years and has not received another injection, her sight is still stable. She is no longer afraid that she might go blind.
