In September 2017, Krisztofer suffered a serious accident when a bracket on a 33-meter-high fairground ride broke. The tragedy shook almost the whole country. The 18-year-old boy fell onto the sidewalk after an eight-meter fall and suffered severe brain damage. He suffered brain trauma and internal bleeding. Lying in a coma for months, his doctors prepared his mother for Christopher’s death.
The boy came out of the hospital after a year, and within a few days his condition began to rapidly improve. Almost from one moment to the next, he learned to walk on his own, and was toilet trained again; he began to speak, and showed emotional reactions. It was as beautiful for a mother’s heart as the birth of a child – said his mother, who believes that her son will make a full recovery.
