Dóra was born with a birth defect in 2005. Her head may have been injured in the birth canal, which caused the ventricles of her brain to dilate, leading to severe neurological damage. She couldn’t be breastfed, and didn’t eat. The little girl was completely helpless and her condition did not change for a long time. In 2021, her parents found a new method. After which, the little girl began to open up as her nervous system functions came to life. After only ten days, the parents noticed that something had changed. The little girl, who hardly showed any interest in anything before, now responds when called. She can show signs of love and is happy around her parents and relatives. In comparison with past restless nights, her sleep has become continuous and restful. She can manage the stairs safely, and can recognize places she has already been to. Development experts have also noticed the positive change in her. Dóra has recently began to laugh, however, in the past she was unable to express her feelings. ‘It’s changed a lot and it’s changing every day’ said her father. They can now be a family again. The parents are relieved and the little girl has got the chance for a fuller life than before.
