J\u00e1nos subsequently regained consciousness, but medical experts said that he would only live his life in a vegetative state. After the head of the family returned home, the family could only see hopelessness ahead. But then they discovered &#8216;You know what&#8217;. Following this, J\u00e1nos&#8217;s condition began to improve spectacularly. Today, he can participate in family life again; he can even help to cook and peel potatoes! He is no longer fed through a stomach tube, and can sit at the dining table and pick out delicious snacks as his ability to swallow and his vision have returned. Hajnalka feels they are a family once more. They can discuss tasks and solve problems together as a family now.
