Петер работал пожарным, вёл очень активную жизнь. В 2015 году он перенёс лёгкий инсульт, а в 2018-м — гораздо более тяжёлый. Врачи установили, что в результате приступа была повреждена и краткосрочная память. Кроме того, Петер бы парализован ниже шеи.
Сегодня Петер уже может двигать обеими руками, понимает обращённую к нему речь и старается наладить собственную коммуникацию. В скором времени ему предстоит ларингоскопия, чтобы появилась возможность говорить.
