Mátyás suffered a stroke in his old age. After cranial surgery, he contracted hospital infections, and developed meningitis and pneumonia. His doctors performed a laryngectomy on him, he received a urinary catheter, and later he could only be fed through a tube. He was kept under sedation, and doctors estimated a 90% chance that Mátyás would not survive the ordeal. He came home in a very bad condition.
Mátyás’ wife, Erzsébet, tried a new method. In four months, huge changes occurred. The first result was that Mátyás began to eat by mouth again. After that, the catheter could be removed. Laboratory results confirmed that the bacteria from the hospital infections were no longer present in his body. He began to communicate and walk again and the elderly man’s health condition improved.
